Who was Darien Lin?
Darien Lin was a 20-year-old college student at Cal Poly Pomona studying Computer Science and an incoming Software Engineering Intern at Fincons Group.
He was a kind-hearted, funny, intelligent, and genuine soul who brought happiness to everyone around him through his bright smile and positive energy.
On February 6th, Darien tragically passed away as a passenger in a car, leaving all of us devastated.
He was a beloved son to two loving parents, an older brother to two younger siblings, and a dear friend to many of us.

Prevention
At the Darien Foundation, we work to prevent tragedies before they happen.
We do this by targeting students on college campuses, hosting events to raise awareness about safe driving, providing free life-saving products for car accidents, partnering with law enforcement, and developing other strategies as we continue to grow.
Through education, action, and community efforts, we are committed to protecting lives.
Helping Others
We are committed to supporting families affected by similar tragedies.
Through fundraising and community events, we raise money to provide financial assistance to those in need.
On top of that, we aim to create a supportive community for families who have experienced loss, offering connection, understanding, and hope.
Honoring Darien
We are committed to keeping Darien’s spirit alive by sharing his story and the lasting impact he made on everyone around him.
Through every event, every message, and every life we touch, we honor who he was — his kindness, his joy, and the love he gave so freely.
Darien will never be forgotten, and through our work, his legacy will continue to inspire and protect others.
